About Us

We serve Downton and the surrounding villages and hamlets, from the Scout Hut at Barford Lane.  We have access to two camping areas and outdoor activity spaces, the Hut field and the Chalk Pit.  In the last 2 years, we have undertaken improvement works to the Scout Hut, thanks to grants and donations from a number of local organisations – all three local parish councils, Wiltshire Council, the Bernard Sunley Foundation and the Landfill Communities Fund administered by Community First.

We are very fortunate to have a full Beaver colony and Cub pack. If you are interested in joining either of these, please use the Waiting List registration links below for the relevant section.
